Prayer Requests:

  • I received news from Bolivia about two of the women that I was having Bible studies with. At that time, Wendy was separated from her husband Jorge. They are back together now, doing better, and thinking about attending a missionary training course. They may join a missionary team to reach the Yura Indians in a new area with the Gospel. (Please pray for this missionary team as they do surveys to find a strategic spot to begin their missinoary work.)
  • We are looking to the Lored for teachers to fill in for all of our classes, and the Lord provided just in time. We are thankful for a great start to our school year. Thank you for praying.
  • Drew and Amber are expecting their second baby on April 1st. Abby, our first granddaughter, had such a rough start, and she has been udnerweight according to the doctor's chart, so we're praying that our new grandbaby will be a good "eater" and a good "sleeper"
  • Three of our students are especially sweet missionary kids whose parents work in Venezuela. They tried other school options, but this year, they sent their three children to live with Grandma and Grandpa while attending our school. Their mom just flew back to be with them for a while, and at Christmas, their mom and dad will fly back. Pray for this family and for great ministry opportunities for the parents in Venezuela.
  • Another ministry Roger is involved in is called Christian Motorcycle Association, CMA. Their hearts' desire is to reach unsaved bikers for the Lord. They go to biker gatherings and put up a booth to hand out water and tracts and to be available to speak to bikers about the Lord. They have other functions also to reach out to other biker groups. Would you pray that God would send "prepared hearts" to Roger and to the CMA group so that many would be saved and would grow in faith?
  • We are also looking to the Lord to start a Spanish ministry in an English-speaking church. Often Spanish-speaking parents have children who are able to speak English fluently. We want a church with good children's ministries in English for th children, and at the same time, w e woudl work with another couple to have a Sunday school class in Spanish for the Spanish-speaking parents. Would you pray for God's leading and working in this idea? We want to be Spirit-led in each detail.
